Every Day Natural Makeup Look

Hello All!
I'm here today with something a bit different. I don't do makeup tutorial videos or anything like that. So this is my first venture into telling other people how to use the products I wear (so be forgiving if this isn't my best work). This is a look that I wear every day, its pretty simple. I don't like wearing a ton of makeup. I don't like it when a girl is almost unrecognizable when she's not wearing a face full of makeup. I love changing it up with different lip colors, but other than that my make up routine is pretty concrete. So lets dive in shall we.

                                                                             Primers:
Makeup has been a big learning process for me. I have always loved it,and wanted to know more about it. I watched YouTubers, and thought "do you really NEED all of those products?" "do I HAVE to do that?" the answers are up to you. I have found myself taking things a step at a time. One of them is primers. I didn't believe in them until these came along.

Product: Mabeline " Baby Skin" primer
It erases pores as promised, with a smooth finish. And it is affordable!
Application: I just smooth it over my skin, but do not rub it in. Remember that it is supposed to sit on top of the skin in order to smooth over anything.

Product:Beneft " Lemon aid"
Then eye primers are a different story. I have found it to be so helpful with keeping eye shadow and eyeliner in place. I have only used this primer and it gets the job done. But I highly suggest using a primer if you are into using eyeshadow.
Application: Pretty much the same as the face primer

Face:
 Product:Chanel Tinted Moisturizer
I have written about this product before, its a classic favorite of mine. I like wearing tinted moisturizers or BB creams most days, if my skin is in good shape. So this is what I chose for this look.
Application:I just put a little bit on the back of my hand(add more if needed),and with a face brush swivel it around my face in a circular motion.

Product: Mabeline Age Rewind Concealer
This product is one of the best under eye concealers I have ever tried. Its not cakey and keeps under eye bags almost invisible(unless you didn't get sleep at all, than thats just sad)
Application:I create a triangle under my eye. Starting from right under the eye, going down the side if the nose, then to the outer corner. Smooth it over with my ring finger gently, and trying not to pull the skin.

Product:Mabeline Green Concealer Stick
A must have for anyone with blemishes(which is mostly everyone, cmon no one is perfect here). I put this on before my foundation and concealer. Green cancels out red on the color wheel so it helps with the appearance of clear skin.
Application:I just dot this on a zit I would like to cover up, pat in a little bit but now much. Then cover with my foundation and concealer.

Product:Make Up Forever Full Cover Concealer
I have taken about this concealer as well, so go check it out. To sum is up,this concealer is bad ass.
Application:Like foundation I put a bit on my hand the use either a brush or my finger to pat it on what I would like to be covered.

Product:NARS "Laguna" Bronzer
This is one of those products that I talked about earlier. Everyone used bronzer and I never though I could because I am so pale. But I was  wrong. I learned how to properly apply it (blend and dont use a shit ton basically)
Application: I load some on to the fluffy brush then tab it against the pot in order to get the excess off. The make a fish face, dusting it on the temples, cheek bones, jawline, chin, and down my nose. Like I said DONT USE A SHIT TON.

Eyes:
Product: Benefit Brow Duo
Again, I didn't do my eyebrows for a long time because I thought "hey they are blonde, no one can see them anyway". But then all this "brows on fleek" stuff had started so I was tempted. After a trip the the Benefit Brow Bar, I was in love. Now I can't not do my brows.
Application: With a brown brush I shape them. Then fill them in with the creamy wax side, then dust on the setting powder(sorry I didn't get a picture of the product)

Product:Stila Eye Liner
I went to the all mighty pintrest to see others opinion on the best liquid liner out there. And I was let right. Directed to this eye liner, I immediately ordered this bad boy. I was NOT disappointed. I think this is the best liner i have ever used. Its relatively easy to apply(considering its liquid liner)with the felt tip, and doesn't budge. Ill put it on before work and at the end of the day it is still in tact.
Application: Everyone does it their own way, I just get it as close to the lash line as possible, letting it dry then going back in the add more or fix what I didn't get before.

Product: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
I'm in love with this mascara. Lengthens, creates dense lashes, and great applicator brush. I like dissss.
Application: I just do it like anyone else does. Unless they use their feet instead of hands, Im not that coordinated.

Lips
Product: NYX Butter Gloss
I love lip products. Thats the most versatile I get. But for this look, I went for this uber creamy lipgloss that is just the right shade to give me that natural look.
Application: I put it on my lips like anyone else would.

There ya have it. That is what I do to my face almost every day! Hope you enjoyed, and have a wonderful week!

Sentimental Value

Hello All,
I'm here with another outfit post. I have a few beauty posts coming soon,to kind of break up the constant outfit posts. I've been trying to write a little message in each piece, to make it more than "oh hey, this is an outfit I picked out, isn't it just neat?". I try to make it a bit more. Which comes very easy to me,all because I genuinely love fashion. I love fashion through the decades, how someones style reflects their personality, and how exciting wearing a new outfit feels. Another part I love is the memories.
Clothes hold so much sentimental value to me. And I think they do to a lot of people. Walk into your grandparents closet. I guarantee they still own clothes from decades ago, because it tells a story. Or even in your own closet. In mine I have: A sparkly dress from New Years Eve 3 years back, a shirt that I wore to my first concert(where I got to meet the band),and this tan round brimmed hat.

This Round brimmed hat holds such a dear memory. A year ago I went to New York City. It was magical, exciting, and happened in a blink of an eye. I bought this hat the second day that I was there. It rained all day long, and was in need of protection from the drizzle. Since then, it has pretty much become my umbrella.I put that hat on today, and I feel the nostalgia. I feel adventurous, and all over gorgeous. Another piece that brings out my inner rock star.

Well I hope you enjoyed todays post. I'll be back with new/different posts.
Have a wonderful week,
Kacie.

Courage.

So before, I wasn't a big bandana wearer. I had no idea how to pair it with something from my wardrobe, or if I could pull it off. Until I started seeing them in more of a scarf setting. Thats when I bought one. Still, it was just sitting there untouched. Until I bought this gray trapeze dress that needed a little something. A spur of the moment decision, that completely turned this outfit badass. The rest of the day I walked around like Clint Eastwood, felt mysterious. Actually no I did. I just felt freaking cool.
What I love about fashion is the comfort. But more or less I like trying something new, and becoming comfortable in something that I though I couldn't pull off. It's one if those things when I talk to other people about a certain look,or I'm wearing something a little out there and they say "oh I could never pull that off". My response to them is "All is takes is the courage to leave the house". And it is true. Once you make it out of there you,get a feel of it,and ultimately you own it. But its important to wear the outfit and not the outfit wear you. It's all in the psychology of it, in my opinion.
So the message I'm trying to leave here is, try something new. And have the courage to leave the house.

Until next time,
Kacie
