What every woman needs in her closet.

So of course everyone has heard of the "Little Black Dress".And since I don't wear a lot of color, half of my wardrobe is a  "Little Black Dress". I have tons, in different cuts, lengths, sleeves, formal, and casual. So its a staple. But this one that I recently bought is becoming one of my favorite things that I own. This black, 90's era dress is a great buy, considering how versatile it is. I've worn it with sandals, ankle boots, and heels. It can be worn out to a fancy night out or just a casual day. Sexy in all the right places, without showing too much(remember the balance I was taking about in a post a few months back?). I have found it to be a big confidence boost when I wear it. You know when you wear a great outfit, and you feel like you can take on the world and then some? This is one of those times. Every woman and even dudes need something in their closet that just makes them feel incredible. Because when you look good, you feel good.

Always Say Yes to a Tutu.

Hello Friends!
I haven't done an outfit post in a long time. So here I am today, sponsored by the freaking awesome tutu skirt that I recently bought.
This outfit would be perfect for any summer formal event, or just a night out. This may sound insane, but I honestly think that its a cool investment. I mean when the opportunity presents itself, I can say "YES, I have a tutu for that!". Because tutu opportunities are obviously always around the corner.
But anyways, you can wear this all year long and its just a fun way to liven up your wardrobe. In these photos I'm not wearing shoes. But if I were to wear them, I would go with either black or nude pumps. And Duh, ballet flats would be beautiful if you prefer something flat.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Beautiful photos by McKay Moran. She's the bomb.

Disposable Camera.

So I had this thought. I miss getting a film camera, a camera that you just point and click. Not knowing what the outcome will be. No second chances. Whatever will be will be. Something thats not around anymore. So I went on Amazon and bought disposable cameras in bulk. I keep one in my purse at all times. I started to taking pictures with friends and family. They completely dug it. Some even asked for a camera of their own, which I was happy to oblige. So here are a few picture Ive taken with the disposable. A lost art.

In Denver, because I have an awesome Roomate/Best Friend who bought tickets for me to see one of my favorite bands.

selfies for days….

I challenge you to grab a disposable camera and share the pictures you take on instagram. My name is @kacefoust. You can tag me or use the hashtag #savedisposablecameras. Or do both. Both would be cool!

Got a night off?

Hello Everyone!
So todays post is about treating yourself to a night off. If you can swing it that is.
I'm a working girl who is usually on the go from 8 in the morning until midnight, usually. So when i don't have to work one evening, I tend to catch up on me time. And that means Bubble bath.
Recently I have been mixing a few things in my bath water in order to help my skin as well as my stress.

First start running a bath.  Temperature depends on you obviously(some people like ice cold baths, dude, totally won't judge). Start by putting in your bubble bath, however much you want. I love this one that I got from the health foods store, smells amazing and its all natural. Then pour in your Apple Cider Vinegar, maybe 1/4 of a cup in. You may want to do less because honestly…. this stuff smells TERRIBLE. But it helps with eczema and body acne. And ACV has so many amazing health/beauty benefits, something you should definitely look up.
Then you add you Coconut Oil. I have talked about Coconut oil on here before. And like I said there are a lot of uses for it. My favorite is a moisturizer. I also use it as lotion(considering my skin is too sensitive for smelly Bath and Body Works lotion, I miss out on so much). Add about a handful or two into the water. Usually when you buy a jar of coconut oil, its in a solid form. So you'll just have to put it in your hand and let the water melt it with your fingers!

All to do now is grab a good book, then get to it! The book I have been reading is "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?" By Mindy Kaling. If you haven't already read it a thousand times, you need get on Amazon and buy a copy, STAT. Doesn't matter if your a dude or a lady. This book is inspiring, hilarious, and all over incredible. Her point of view on life experiences brings a little comfort and a sense of humor into perspective.

I hope you enjoyed this post! And again, thank you to anyone who checks my blog out. It brings so much joy doing this and I appreciate the support!
love,
Kacie.

White/ Gray/ Platinum

Hello everyone.
I have yet to talk about my new hair, my exciting white/gray/platinum hair. I have been wanting to do this for the longest time, and finally had it done. And I could not be happier. But as I've said: hair is an investment. I will go through the process of how it was done, then go through some of the products i use to keep it's ice cold appearance.

The process:
So I sat in the chair for 4 HOURS when I got my hair done. First they put bleach all over my head. I know what your thinking, ARE YOU INSANE?? Nope. And my hair girl sure as hell isn't either. She used special Olaplex treatments. I highly recommend going to a salon that uses this product, because my hair is still intact after an all over bleach, thanks to Olaplex. So after the bleach, we did an Olaplex treatment. Then we toned. A toner is a necessity. You tone you hair in order to get the highlighter yellow color out of your bleached hair. Creating the white/gray desired color.
So you just got your hair done, and you paid a pretty penny for your gorgeous locks. They look amazing when you walk out of the salon, but keep in mind what you are going to be doing in order to keep them looking so great.

At home care:
A purple shampoo is probably the most important thing to have. Im using this one from Fudge Urban. I have used different ones in the past which were great. This is one i have been using at the moment. It leaves my hair feeling a little bit softer than what the others do in the past. I actually mix it with my Mane and Tail shampoo so I can use it more often than just every other day like I used to do with other purple shampoos.

I also did an at home toner not to long ago and I was really pleased with how it turned out. It was an easy process, easy to apply, overall I was happy with it.I used the shade T14, pale ash blonde. So i do recommend it. I used this one for Wella. If you go to Sallys, there are lots of other toners. I had just heard a few good reviews on this one so i gave it a try. So I will always be open to new ways to take care if this hair.

Hopefully this was educational to a few of you who are blonder are thinking of going blonde!
until next time,
Kacie.
